Thanks to local member, Fred Ruark for letting us know that this Saturday, November 16th, there’ll be a gathering of local writers at Coffee Quarter in San Souci Plaza from noon until 6pm.
In December, member Tracey Pintell Quade will lead us in a workshop about mind mapping for writers.
Not familiar with mind mapping? Mind mapping is a visual way to extract and organize information from your mind. Have an idea for a story, but aren’t quite sure how to formulate it into a complete tale? Try a mind map. There’s plenty of information at http://www.mindmapping.com if you want a sneak peek, but please do plan to join us in December to try mind mapping for yourself!

The St. Mary’s Chapter of the Maryland Writer’s Association is taking a break in November. There are plenty of great happenings around the state at our other chapters, however… Check ’em out here!
